Windows 10, the successor to Windows 8.1, is receiving great praise from PC users, especially those who were dissatisfied with Windows 8 / 8.1. Despite all these good things, the fact remains that Windows XP is now outdated and users are slowly but steadily switching to Windows 8.1 and the latest Windows 10. Best of all, most of the available software is still compatible with Windows XP.
The ten-year-old operating system does not require powerful hardware, unlike its successors. Windows XP is loved by many computer users for its simple user interface. Although Microsoft has stopped supporting Windows XP, even today there are more computers running Windows XP than Windows 8.1.
